Ms. Stepanova begins the summer 2015 in her role as faculty, Piano Program director and Associate Artistic Director at SONGFEST, held each year at The Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles. A highlight of this year's festival, Ms. Stepanova curates a "Recovered Voices" program dedicated to composers affected by the cataclysms of the first half of the 20th century. The program is produced in consultation with James Conlon, the OREL Foundation, and the Ziering-Conlon Initiative for Recovered Voices at The Colburn School. READ MORE
Further travels take Ms. Stepanova to the Upper Gallilee Voice of Music Festival in Israel and the Lyra Chamber Music Workshop in Vermont.
Two performances feature Ernest Chausson's imposing Concert for violin, piano, and string quartet with violinist David Coucheron and the Amernet String Quartet at the Madison Chamber Music Festival in Madison, GA and violinist Yevgeny Kutik in Ms. Stepanova's return engagement at Gretna Music in Mount Gretna, PA.
